This is an image shot with the M240 I had on loan a few weeks back. The shot is inspired by Saul Leiter. I recommend a closer look at his work, especially his early colour photographs.
You know the cliché - autumn, a line of trees and a "perfect" reflection, well the scene just needed a little something.
Leica M240, 35mm Summicron
Had to hand back the Leica M, or M240 if you like, Interfoto Norge was kind enough to lend me. The rangefinder camera may not be for everybody, but I have to admit that I quite like the simplicity of it. You basically have focus and exposure to play with. The rest is up to you. I admit that the focusing takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it it is quite intuitive.
