Here is an image form a little exercise I did on how to use and controll light with simple tools. The light is falling through the window behind the glasses, and I have used a few sheets of paper and cardboard to direct light where I wanted it.

Golden Straws
Blured
Images where all is a blur, where there are no sharply rendered elements from which the eye can explore the image, tend to be images you move away from rather quickly. But try to give an image like this a little more time. It might fuel your imagination in a way you did not anticipate. (I guess I could have used a title which would give you a hint about what it is, but I'll leave that to your imagination.)
Straw Arch
Five Fruits by one of them
Just a bit of fun with half a clementine and a LED head lamp.
Frosted Snow
Fern Frost
The patterns frost can form on glass surfaces are amazing, like this frost fern. The contrast in the original shot is low, so I have worked with contrast and light to emphasise the fern pattern.
Whiteout
Ice Patterns II
Ice Brocade
Caught in the Ice
Ice Patterns
Amazing what kind of patterns frost sometimes forms when you have the right conditions. This is from the rear window of a car. The image is taken just after sunset on a clear day and I have set the white balance to daylight, and the result is this blue colour.
