Haukeli Mountain Route

This is an image from early summer this year, along the road between Haukeli and Røldal. I shot it with black and white conversion in mind. The image has a limited palette anyway, and I my oppinion the blue sky is more distracting than it is adding anything to the image.

A Distant Recollection of Winter

A little over three weeks ago things looked very different. We had snow and it felt like we were going to have a bit of winter after all. But it only lasted a couple of days. And as you saw from my previous post, spring is here already. And as I said, very early this year.

Haukland Lofoten Islands

I was browsing through some old photos, and found myself returning to this image. The image is taken a couple of years ago, and it is taken in the Lofoten Islands. The weather was like this for almost 10 days in a row. Nice "holiday weather", but for photography it can be a bit too nice. On the other hand, perfect conditions at night for watching the aurora.
