Over the past week we have had cold, clear weather and ice have stared to form on ponds and lakes. I found the way the ice droplets on the straws catch and scatter the light intriguing. The colors in the upper righthand corner of the image is the reflection of the colorful sunset.
This is a site I have visited quite a few times, and I still find it intriguing. This shot is from spring this year.
As I was reviewing the images I took this summer I decided to convert some of them to B&W, and this is one I think works quite well as a B&W image. The small size and the low resolution version I have presented here may not do the image justice, but I still think it works well as a B&W image.
This image if from the same area as one of my previous posts, "Rock face". Different part of the stream, and I have used a 10 stop ND filter to blur the water.
The name Flåklypa has a special ring to it for most Norwegians my age. It is closely linked with the stop motion-animated feature film "Flåklypa Grand Prix", or as it is know in English, "Pinchcliffe Grand Prix" (see the Wikipedia article for more info)
This is a site I have photographed from different angles several times over the past year. It is the building of the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. I like the building and the area surrounding it, and i have often found an image or two when I have been there with my camera. This time it was the contrast between the rocks in the pool and the mirror image of the building that caught my attention.
Well. perhaps not in full autumn colors, so I looked for other angles than the typical "colorful trees" shot. The leaves had faded enough to become translucent though, and i stumbled upon this.
