Impressions
Gentle waves and ripples on water can create nice, distorted reflections. I have published a few examples of this in the past. But for some reason those images seem a bit stale, perhaps even "old". So I decided to prolong the exposure to make the images a bit more abstract. And here is an example of the images I got from this slightly different approach.

At Haukelifjell one Year later
About this time of year last year I posted a couple of images from Haukelifjell, a mountain range on the way from the eastern to the western part of south Norway. This image is taken a bit further west than the two images I posted last summer.
The images from last year were taken a couple of weeks earlier than this one, and the air was warmer and the snow melting. This year conditions were quite the opposite. The weather was a lot colder and the road was closed due to snow storms the day before and the the after I drove across.

Waves and Sunlight II
Here is a different angle on the theme "waves and sunlight" I did a post on last week. A rather strong wind blowing across the small pond created waves with a short wavelength, and for this image I chose to go with a relatively slow shutter speed. What I got in return are these hatch like patterns drawn by the specular highlights.

Waves and Sunlight
This is a variation, or interpretation if you will, of a subject I have published images of before. The combination of shallow water, waves and light creates wonderful patterns of light and shadows.
