Like a sheet of Glass
With a fast shutter speed the waves, ripples and braking up of the thin sheet of water flowing over the edge of this fountain becomes visible. And to me it looks like a sheet of glass breaking up.

Spring Foliage
There is something light and delicate about the foliage as the leaves start to appear in the spring. For the first few days the leaves are almost transparent and have a light colour, before they grow larger and denser.
Ripples and Sunlight
One of my photographic, guilty pleasures, the way surface ripples creates patterns in shallow pools and ponds.
Iceland PODAS
It is four years ago now since I joined the PhaseOne workshop in Iceland. It was a great experience, and I learned a lot. Browsing through the images brings back fond memories.

Magnolia
There is a magnolia tree I have tried to get a decent shot of. I have tried a number of times, but I have not been able to nail it. This time was no different, so I decided to get the 10 stop ND filter out and make a long exposure. It may not be a great image, but it does illustrate my frustration with the motif which just seems to slip through my fingers.
